Title: XIM2 Xbox 360 Mouse/Keyboard System Prerelease Demonstration View count: 38891 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: http://www.XIM360.com I wanted to start putting together some technology videos to give people a feel about what to expect from XIM2. Please note that this point of these videos is to showcase XIM2's performance (not mine). As you'll see that I'm not the most tactical savvy player. But, I try. :) As XIM users know, XIM1 is dependent on the XFPS which results in the inheritance of the XFPS's limitations. These update rate and precision limitations don't exist on XIM2. While XIM1 works excellent with CoD4, it's performance on Halo 3 isn't perfect. People will say Halo 3 feels a little "off" with respect to input lag and also diagonal movement. XIM2's unrestricted environment in addition to its revamped mouse translation system (that takes advantage of these improved update rates) makes for a much different experience in a game like Halo 3. This first in-game performance demonstration video is meant to show the level of reticule responsiveness, stability, and precision that is achievable now in Halo 3. To me, Halo 3 is now a totally different game. The reticule is tight. I'm able to pull 180's in an instant and stop where I expect. Diagonal movement is exact. In fact, I'm able to move the reticule in a circle now (this wasn't possible in XIM1)! Tags: xim, xbox, 360, input, machine, halo, mouse, keyboard, xfps, Author: OBsIV |
