Title: What's For Dinner? Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole Part 1 View count: 1075 Rating: 5.0 (7 ratings) Description: Greetings! Tonight, we go back to a treasured classic, Tuna Noodle Casserole. I know, I know, Tuna Casserole, you say? But, this is a great go to, comfort food. It makes a bunch and can be reheated for lunches or another midweek meal without too much thought. I have included a super simple side of Green Beans and Tomatoes combine these with a biscuit and you are good to go. Preparation and cooking takes about one hour, but a leftover meal would only take minutes. I know you are going to like this one. Here are the ingredients you will need: 1 large bag wide egg noodles 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 can condensed cream of celery soup 3 cans tuna, I use white albacore, but you use what you like. I also used the liquid 1 small can of mushrooms 1 large can of whole black olives, slice about 3/4 of the can, let your family eat the rest. 2 stalks of celery sliced thinly 1/2 to 1 cup of milk 1 8 ounce bag of shredded cheddar cheese, or grate your own 2 cups needed. In a large pot, boil enough salted water to cook the entire bag of egg noodles, cook noodles until al-dente, or slightly chewy. In a 9 1/2 x 11 baking dish, mix both soups, tuna, celery, mushrooms olives, 1 cup of cheese and enough milk to make a nice creamy consistency. Drain noodles and add to baking dish. Mix well and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes on until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbly. To make side dish you will need: 1 can of cut green beans, drained, or 1 1/2 cup of frozen green beans cooked 1 can stewed tomatoes Mix vegetables together and heat in microwave for 3 minutes. Serve casserole along with veggies and a biscuit and that's what's for dinner. Thanks again for your great comments. Enjoy!
