Joe: We were arguing and then he just passed out. Demi: What were you arguing about? Joe: He thinks our next door neighbor likes me. He woke up and the dude and I were watching the game. It was just a baseball game, nothing more. Everyone knows that Nick is the only person my heart longs for. Demi: Maybe everyone except Nick. Joe: I just married him! If that doens't show him how much I love him, then I don't know what will. Doc: Mr. Jonas? Joe: Dems, I have to go. *hangs up* Is he okay? Doc: He'll be okay. He has type lukemia.? Joe: leukemia.? Doc: Yes. If you come with me, I'll explain it to the both of you. *walks to Nick's room* Joe: *follows him* Hey, sweetie. How are you feeling? *strokes Nick's cheek* Nick: *Tear come down* Whats wrong with me joey? Joe: It's nothing, sweetheart. It's nothing we can't handle. *tears up* Nick: What do you mean? Joe: *sighs* You have leukemia. Nicky. Nick: *Tears up* Am i going to die? Joe: *tears fall* No, baby. Of course not. Nick: *tears fall down more* Joe: *hugs him* I know, sweetie. Everything will be okay. I promise. Doc: Mr. Jonas, would you like to start him on the chemo treatments? Joe: *looks at Nick* Do you want to take chemo? You don't have to. I won't pressure you into anything. Nick: Um *Looks at Joe then the Doctor* Doc: It's completely up to you. You don't have to take the treatments, but I would highly recommend you do. Or, there is another option. Joe: What is the other option? Doc: We can do a CAT scan on him and figure out where the cancer actually is. He's in the early stages so we can go in and remove it and that would be it. Joe: *looks at Nick* Do you want to do that, Nicky? Do you want them to operate or do you want to take the chemo? Nick: Um Operate Doc: Okay. Well, let me go get the surgeons ready and we'll operate in about an hour. *walks out of the room* Joe: *holds his hand* I'll be right by your side when you wake up. I promise. *kisses his lips softly* Nick: *Kisses back and get neverous* Joe: Don't worry. I know you're nervous, but it all be over soon. You'll be cancer free in no time, honey. By the way, I called Demi and she said her and Miley are on the plane now. While they're operating, I'm going to the airport to pick them up. Then, when I get back, you'll be ready to wake up. *smiles* Nick: Ok *Smiles* Doc: *comes in* Okay, Nicholas. We're ready for you. Joe: *kisses his forehead* I love you, honey.
