Stupid Kayla had to come in. My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call. Nick: Hello ( sad tone) Police Officer: Is a Nick Jonas here? Nick: That's me, is anything wrong. Police: Yes, Amber ( make up a last name, I forgot, sorry ) has been in a crash and I believe that you are the father of her child. Nick: Oh my god, what hospital? Police: St. Mary Hospital. I hung up the phone and ran to get my jacket, I was out the door, Kayla following me like a puppy. Nick: Go home Kayla. Kayla: Come on Nicky..Pleaseeeee! I pushed her off my arm and got in my car, I rushed to the hospital. A nurse told me her room number and when I got there she looked....pale. A doctor came in. Doctor: Ahhh, I see you are the father, I see. I nodded not getting words to come out of my mouth. I took her cold hand in mine. Doctor: Her baby is healthy and it's going to be a baby girl. On the other hand, her heart rate is really slow, and it is a 50/50 chance she will make it or not. He left the room, and I pulled up a chair beside her bed. All this time, I let our love fall apart, and burn to the ground. The truth was, I still love her, and when I saw Joe in the bed next to her I freaked out. But, I deserve this, I guess, no matter what happens, I am going to take care of her and this baby. Tears stung in my eyes, maybe she could hear me. I was going to sing the song I wrote for her a while ago. All of a sudden her eyes popped open and she sat up shaking. Her face was weird unknown. Hollie: Nick. Nick: Oh my god. I pulled her into a hug but forgot about her fragile body. She yelped in pain and I pulled away. Nick: I'm sorry. She didn't say anything, she just stared at the ceiling and held her stomach. I watched as a few tears escaped her eyes.
