Title: Welcome to the Ayla View count: 174 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: I own nothing other than the arrangement of the clips. This is another rpg backstory of mine. Welcome to the Ayla, a world within a world. A self enclosed clan of a freshie (those who willingly give of themselves to vampires, most typically blood donors) ring, the Ayla are the catalog faces. Each part of their lives documented and sold to market those of other clans willing to actually sell themselves. Only known to each other by their nicknames except for the one who issued the invitation, Sheridan had previously found Lenae half drained by a vampire. Shortly after Wild One inducts her to the Ayla as Magpie she meets Morrigan. Wild One, firmly believing there is no such thing as a stable relationship, dabbles with him as Magpie adjusts to the constant flashing of the cameras and learns how to use them to her best advantage. Magpie starts to date Morrigan with some reluctance given the way her last relationship ended. Still, he brings life to her and she was starting to fall for him. Then, after an altercation resulted in many of her sibling Ayla's deaths or injuries, Magpie lashes out, going so far as to kill the ones responsible. Unfortunately, one of these was her clan's Voice on the ring Council [unlike the typical ring, for the most part its participants were willing and therefore had governances they elected to abide by, the Voices passing on the decisions of the leader]. Under normal circumstances, under the ring's law, this was automatic death. However, given at least one oft he assailants she took down was a vampire, she was extended the offer of becoming Nameless instead. While as a Hadjaran she would live, none of the Forsaken were allowed relationships outside, or even at all, focusing instead on atoning the transgressions that merited their joining in the first place, along with maintaning order and safety of the others in the ring. Even though she wants nothing more, she can't explain this to Morrigan, and so simply has to tell him she can't ever see him again. While she assures him that, yes, he meant something to her, she still walks away, wishing with all her heart she could run to him again.
