Title: Warwick ISOC Charity Week 2009 View count: 91 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: A brother(Aslan) was sponsored to dress up as Wolverine and attend all his lectures(from 9am till 7pm!) as Wolverine. Alhamdulillah he raised over £600. This is his speech in 9am lecture, Business Law 2. Many thanks to Sue Deebank for allowing the speech and supporting charity! It was part of Charity Week 2009, organised by Warwick Islamic Society (Warwick ISOC) with Islamic Relief for Orphans and Needy Children worldwide. He went around campus(Warwick University), even in the library dressed up as a Hero! The speech is: Hey everyone! Its Charity week this week and the Warwick ISOC is raising money for orphans and needy children throughout the world. Its your chance to be a hero and its not about appearances but about action, a Hero prefers others to themselves. Many animals sacrifice their lives for others but were not asking for that. We only ask that you part with some wealth, many of us easily fork up 5 or 10 quid for meals regularly whilst poor children in Africa, India etc dont have one decent meal for weeks.
