"No, he wasn't there yet," Nick said. We were watching both Nick and my phone. Yep, we bought those tickets. Why not? I also let a HUGE hint for them, too. It was classic. It would be amazing to see the look on their faces. Priceless. Then my phone rang. It was her. I put it on speaker. "Surprise!" we all said. "You guys are ridiculous. You didn't have to do that, you know," she said. "How did you find out?" Nick asked. "Those pickles. Dude, that's...insane. Why did you guys do that?" "Because you are our friend. I mean, yeah, we don't know you that well, but we'd like to consider you family," Kevin said. "Yeah, what he said," I added. She laughed. "Well, Mat and I thank you very much. You guys are awesome." "Yeah, have fun. Meet Mickey. Ride something." Kevin said. "And keep us updated," I said. "Of course I will; it's the least I could do." "Well, we really have to go now," Nick said. We wrapped things up and after the phone call we gave each other a high five. "That was great," Kevin said. That was great. I wanted her to be happy. I couldn't wait to see her when I got back. -Alex's POV- I hung up and turned to Mat. "Mat...it was them. They bought those tickets." "I know that 'them' is not referring to those brothers." I nodded. "Wow," he said, and sat down. "They are really...awesome people." "I know," I said back. "So, what are we gonna do?" He smirked. "Dude, we're gonna make the most out of these tickets." He smiled and we made our way out the door. ~ We got back home on Tuesday afternoon. Mat had to fly out that night, so I drove him to the airport. "So...I will see you, when I see you." "Of course, bro. And don't stay away too long. I've missed you." He laughed and gave me a hug. "Don't worry I will." Then his flight was called over the intercom. I gave him another huge hug. "Take me with you," I whined. He laughed. "I wish I could, but I don't think Joe would appreciate me whisking his girl away." I blushed. "I'm not his girl." He laughed again. "I beg to differ. And for the record, I approve of him." I gave him a hug yet again. "Awe, thanks. Now go, before you miss your flight." He squeezed my hand and joined the people getting in line for the flight. I gave him a last wave and went back home. I got into the shower and then got into bed, dozing off with John Mayer's 'Free Fallin'' in my ears. I woke up at 7. It was an early day. Too early. I put on my workout clothes put an outfit in my bag. I walked over to a Starbucks before heading over to the studio. I opened the door and saw Joe sitting in the middle of the room with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. "Hey, stranger," I said. He turned and saw me. He got up and pulled me into a hug. "Hey, Al. Did you have fun?" "Of course I did," I said. "What are you doing here?" "Me and Nick wanted to see you, duh," he said. "And Nick is..." "He had to go back to set for a few minutes," he said, shrugging. Then Nick came into the room. "Alley Cat!" "Hey, Nick," I said, and gave him a hug. "So, did you meet Mickey?" he asked. "Yes I met Mickey. He was pretty awesome." Nick sat down and took a doughnut. "So, Al, I've got a question. When do I get to see you dance?" My eyes widened. "Um, never?" "What? No fair. Joe got to see you dance." "Joe was being nosy." "Well, now I wanna be nosy," Nick shot back. Joe shrugged. "And you are good. The funny part is, you don't give yourself enough credit." "See?
