Title: Thunder: A Jonas Brothers Story Ch. 85 View count: 239 Rating: 5.0 (3 ratings) Description: I have a Samsung SGH-T918. It's a slider phone and it has horrible sound quality. His name is Flip. Ch. 85 "I don't think a song is enough," I said. I tried to finish the one I was working on; the one I sang to her, but I wasn't sure if that would be enough. Then I tried writing a whole new song. But now, I don't think just a song will get her to forgive me. "You're not just writing a song for her. That's just phase one. You have a lot to do, my brother," Kevin said, patting me on the back. "So, what do I have to do?" I asked, putting the guitar down. "You have to figure that out on your own," he said, getting up and heading for the door. I gawked at the back of his head for a second. "I thought you were supposed to be helping me!" I said. Kevin turned around. "I can't help you come up with an apology that she'll forgive. You know better than I do what she'll respond to." "So you're genius plan is to apologize? Really?" "And I've called in some favors in case that doesn't work. Just a precaution." "I don't even know where to begin, though." I put my head in my hands. "'Sorry' is not gonna cut it." "Joe," Kevin said in a brotherly way. He put an arm around my shoulder. "An apology is much more than just saying 'sorry'. It needs to come from your heart, okay? So do that. Let the words come from your heart. She'll forgive you." "How do you know?" "Because I'm awesome." I couldn't help but crack a smile. Kevin did, too. "And so are you. Now, finish that song, and go get the girl." And with that, he left. "More and more I start to realize I can raise my tomorrow I can hold my head up high And it's all because you're by my side" This is going so perfect. I can't wait until I can hold her in my arms again, where she most definitely belongs. Alina's POV "Callie. Sleepover. My place. Tonight. Be here in 20 minutes or less or be square." "Okay, sure," she said. "See ya in 20." "Hey Vickster! What's going on? Be at Alina's place in 20 minutes. We're having a sleepover. Alright. See you soon." "Christina! Get your ass over to Alina's house for a sleepover. Yeah, be here in 20 or less. Awesome." "You know you guys," I said, putting my phone down, "you were right. I think this is exactly what I need to get my mind off of He Who Must Not Be Named." "When are we not right?" Tina asked, leaning back on my bed. "Yeah, it doesn't happen very often," added Brenna. "Whatever," I said rolling my eyes. Soon, the girls came and we commenced with the typical slumber party activities, minus the boy talk. Don't need any of that. "Okay, Alina, this slumber party is to make YOU feel better. Why are you giving pedicures?" Vicky asked as I painted a flower on her big toe. "Because I'm awesome at it. Look at this." I held her foot up, almost causing her and Callie to come crashing down off the bed. "Wow! Proceed," she said. "Yeah," I said laughing, "that's what I thought." "So... truth or dare?" "Tina, are you really trying to get us to play that game. What are we? Middle schoolers?" "Shut up! It's just for fun. So, truth or dare?" I sighed. "Dare." She grinned. "I dare you to put on some of that fancy French lingerie I know you have and do that little dance you made up to 'Just Dance' by Lady Gaga." "Seriously?" I whined. Everyone nodded. "You guys suck." When I came back, scantily clad and CD player in hand, all the girls erupted into a giggle fit. "I look silly, don't I?" I had chosen a baby blue corset with a built in bra with matching panties. The whole outfit was covered in lace and bows and matched my carpet. Stupid French people. I turned the music on and started dancing. I made this dance up months ago, because we were just sitting around being bored. I hate just sitting around, so I made it up on the spot. Over the semi-loud and techno sounding music, I heard the soft, slow strumming of a guitar. I stopped dancing. "Do you guys hear that?" "Hear what?" Brenna asked. Everyone was looking around. "How can you guys not hear that?" I ran outside onto my balcony. There are perks to having a rich lawyer mommy that isn't around. Such as she doesn't claim the good bedroom with the balcony and huge bathroom. I closed the French doors behind me and investigated the area. Nothing. But I could still hear the music. I walked to the side of the balcony and exhaled. It was closer to the ground than I had expected. I closed my eyes, listening to the music. It was pretty and oddly familiar. I was looking down at the ground, my eyes not really focusing on anything. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone emerge from the shadows. He was holding a guitar. Let Phase One commence!
