Title: Thunder: A Jonas Brothers Story Ch. 41 View count: 219 Rating: 4.0 (3 ratings) Description: I really love the movies August Rush andd Stardust. && Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl Sorry, you guys. I know I'm a tad late! Ch. 41 I got out of bed and crept next-door to the guest room. I slowly opened the door, so it wouldn't make any noise. I walked over to the side of her bed. She had kicked the blanket off, and was sleeping peacefully. She looked so beautiful. There was another crack of thunder, and I leaped back three feet, landing with a loud thud. Alina turned over in her bed and faced me. She opened her eyes a little and spoke in a whisper. Normal POV Alina: *whispers, half asleep* Joe? Joe: Hey, babe. I was just making sure that you were okay, you know, with the storm and all. Alina: Aww... thanks for checking on me. I'm alright. I love thunder storms. They make me happy. Joe: Yeah, I know. Alina: Then why were you checking on me? *sits up* Joe: *sits on the bed* Well, you see— *jumps because of another crack of thunder* Alina: Honey, are you afraid? Joe: What? Me? Afraid? Of thunder storms? No! Alina: Joe. You don't need to lie to me. Joe: Who said I was lying? *lightning flashes, followed by a crack of thunder. He grabs her hand tightly* Alina: *moves over* Get in. Joe: Do you think we could get in my bed? Alina: Why? What's wrong with this bed? Joe: Okay, so I'm really afraid of thunder storms. Alina: *smiles* I gathered that. Joe: *shakes his head and chuckles* And my bed comforts me a little. Alina: And...? Joe: And you make me happy and comfort me a lot... Alina: Where ya goin' with this, sweetie? Joe: So imagine how much you in my bed WITH me would help me sleep. Alina: Joe, to be honest, I really don't wanna move. Joe: No problem. *scoops her up into his arms, wedding style* You don't have to move. Alina: *wraps her arms around his neck for support* Mmm... baby. You're so strong! Joe: I work out. Alina: *takes a hand and squeezes one of his biceps* I see that. Joe: *carries her to his bedroom and lays her down gently on his bed* Here we are. Alina: *notices that he's only in his boxers, and looks him up and down* Joe: Did you just check me out? *smiles and lays down next to her* Alina: Oh, like you've never checked me out. Joe: To be honest, I check you out every chance I get. *kisses her on the forehead* Alina: *scoots closer to him* Is this better? With the storm and all? Joe: *wraps his arms around her, pulls her close, and kisses the top of her head again* So much better. Alina: Good. *snuggles into his chest and closes her eyes* Joe: *lays still for a little bit and then slowly slides a hand from her waist to the bottom of her shorts and slips underneath them* Alina: Joe? Joe: Mmhmm? *keeps heading further south* Alina: I'm lying in your bed with you. You're half-naked; I'm barely wearing any clothes. Don't push it. Joe: Don't push what? *smirks down at her* Alina: *looks up at him and smiles* Goodnight, Joe. *moves his hand back to her waist and places hers on top of it* Joe: No fair. Alina: It's completely fair. What's not fair is you taking advantage of the fact that I'm half-asleep and using *drifting off* those puppy-dog eyes and dimples of yours for evil. *falls asleep* Joe's POV I pulled Alina a little bit closer into my body. She smiled in her sleep. I swear, she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I really do think we're meant to be together. Like soul mates, sort of. I fell asleep with her in my arms. ~~Later I felt Alina shift in her sleep. I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. It was 4 o'clock. I looked down at Alina, who was still wrapped up in my arms. She groaned softly, changing sleep positions again. She mumbled something. "What was that, Alina?" I whispered. She was still asleep. It was probably something to do with her dream. "No," she said a little louder. I watched her for a second. She seemed to settle back down, but then she yelled out, "No, please! Stop!" I looked down at her with wide eyes. Her beautiful face was engraved with lines of worry and fear; her eyes were still closed. "Please! No! You can't do this!" She was screaming at this point. Good thing Nick sleeps like a rock. "Ahh!!!" Her tank top was drenched in sweat. I hugged her even closer to me and rested my chin on the top of her head. I was about to wake her from her nightmare, when she stopped her yelling and settled back down. I figured I'd just let her sleep. I couldn't sleep though. Thoughts of what she could've been dreaming about swirled around in my head for the rest of the night. Wuh-oh! What was she dreaming about??
