Title: Three bears and a blonde is Luton panto View count: 267 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: It's a Christmas panto with a difference at Luton Library Theatre this year. Not only is the tale a much forgotten classic about three bears and a blonde, but for the first time in pantomime, the two actors playing the villain and the dame - Andrew Fettes and George Kelly - are going to swap roles each day. As the curtain rose on the launch of the December panto on October 15, the dame/villain led the cast in a warm up of cheesy jokes and festive costumes. Children's television favourite Fifi And The Flowertots makes a star appearance, with the voice of actress Jane Horrocks, to help the lovely Fairy Honeycomb, played by Jamie-Leigh Taylor. Goldilocks is played by musical theatre actress Alex Taylor-Robertson, who is also a member of up and coming girl band The Electric Dolls, and her love interest is played by panto newcomer Henry Allan. Mummy, Daddy and Baby Bear play themselves, of course, and rising comedy star Michael James completes the cast as Simple Simon. Goldilocks And The Three Bears is on at Luton Library Theatre from December 11 to December 30. Tickets, priced £11 for adults or £9.50 for concessions, are available from the box office on 01582 547474.
