Who would be excited if I started that series again? Please comment on it! Alana remained hovering over Michael until he came back to his senses. She sat on the floor next to him, stroking his forehead. Joe's words were buzzing around her head. "Be careful..." She shook her head and sighed. She was trying to convince herself Joe was absolutely wrong, but the way he spoke made her think differently. She shivered. I quiet groan erupted from Michael's chest. "Michael?" Alana whispered. His eyes fluttered open. "Alana?" He mumbled. He sat up. "You okay?" Alana nodded. Michael flinched. His hand went to the back of his head. "What happened?" "Joe punched you..." She replied. "I'm going to get him so hard he'll..." "Please don't," Alana interrupted him. He looked at her confused. "What? Why not?" "I don't like watching you two playing the game of revenge. It bothers me," Alana bit her lip. "Okay," Michael nodded. "If that's what you want." "Thank you," She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, embracing him in a hug. Michael wrapped his arms around her waist. He smirked to himself. Joe wasn't getting off that easily. Nick inhaled the dust-filled air. He tightened his silver Easton VRS Pro III Adult batting gloves. He grabbed the aluminum Easton BCN9 Stealth IMX baseball bat from its place on the fence and approached home plate. He adjusted his helmet before looking at head baseball coach, Mr. Fields. "Alright son," He began. "O'Grady here is going to pitch a few to ya," He gestured to the tall pitcher from the senior class. "Let's see how well you take em," Coach Fields stepped behind the chain link fence. Nick tightened his grip and narrowed his eyes. O'Grady pitched a fastball and Nick struck at it with full force. It disappeared in the outfield. He threw a curveball. Nick shot it out of the field. He repeated his winning streak until the pitcher ran out of baseballs. Nick removed his helmet and ran his fingers through his hair. Coach Fields walked over to him. "You have talent kid," He stated. "Let's see what we can do with it," He held out his hand to Nick. Nick smiled slightly and shook it. "Thank you sir," Nick breathed. "Practice tomorrow, in the gym. Bring your running shoes," Coach turned and walked back towards the school.
