It had been raining all week and now the treacherous moistness that covered the small town was beginning to fade back, but i knew too well it wouldnt be long before it consumed the desolate little town once more. i missed the sweetness of Floridas humid summers and its warm beaches, now it was always cold and i was miserable. i didnt have a car yet so she would have to slip and slide the three miles, undoubtedly in the rain, to the local and only- high school for miles. it was November at the end of the first semester, when she moved to this rainy place two weeks ago , but the hole school was on a break , for some town holiday that i had never heard about, so i had to wait the two weeks till school started again. i used those two wretched weeks to get all my stuff into the new house my mom had bought when she gotten a letter telling her that she only 15 year-old daughter wanted to come and live with her in Willow Creek. The letter didnt say why, but my mom was too excited to care. i had visited my mom every two months because of the distance , when my mom and dad got divorced my mom left to go back to Willow Creek where she grew up my mother had never really liked Florida so after all the papers where signed and everything was settled she left her me with my father paul. They got divorced when i was only ten, almost six years ago, when i would ask my mom why, she always got uncomfortable and would say well baby, we just dont love each other anymore i had always got that answer and always thought there was something that she wasnt telling me but i was never one to pry so i dropped it.i had been living with her dad in Florida i never knew why i was with him i had always been closer to my mom. i never really developed a relationship with my dad even though we had spent the last five years together, when i was living with him, her dad would go out and leave me alone most of the time but that wasnt what i minded, i liked to be alone, but my dad would go out to the local bar and get drunk with his buddies, i hated it when my dad got drunk i think that it changed him, into a person he wasnt..
