Not stalking you or anything—but yeah, I saved you! Your head was bleeding like crazy! Nick; Er—so—why are you here? Miley; [giggles] I just wanted to make sure you were okay! Nick; [glares] Im not having sex with you. Miley; [looks shocked] I havent even MENTIONED the word sex, Nicky! Nick; Im a mind reader—and dont call me Nicky.. Miley; [frowns slightly] Oh my God, youre a mind reader!? Why didnt you tell me! Thats so cool! [hesitates] And why cant I call you Nicky? You let me call you that when we were dating.. Tori Smith. I dont know her—but she says shes friends with you— Stacey; [wide eyes] Tori? Er—lemme talk to her. Matt; Cant. Shes in the bathroom. My mom is help her clean out her wounds and everything..and getting her some clothes..her other clothes are dirty.. Stacey; Wounds? Dirty clothes? What did she say happened? Matt; She wont tell us. She wants to see you, though. Stacey; Why didnt she just come to my house? Matt; She said she was in too much pain to walk any farther, and she knew I lived closer than you..so yeah.. Matt; In the living room. Moms getting her something to eat. Stacey; [goes to the living room, and sees Tori with some spaghetti and juice next to her] T-Tori? Tori; [looks up] Hey..Stacey.. Stacey; [sits next to her] What—what happened? Tori; [her face suddenly looks sullen] Joe happened, thats what. Stacey; [gasps] JOE did this to you? No—he would never— Tori; Yeah..but he did.. [looks down at the floor] He kidnapped me, Stac. AND he raped me, AND he drugged me, AND he beat the shit out of me.. Stacey; [cant believe it; shakes her head] Im so sorry.. [hugs her] I cant believe it—Joe, really?—I thought he was good now.. Tori; I thought so, too. [sighs and takes a sip of juice] Well—I just wanted to see you because—because..I needed help at first, of course, but I feel really bad about that fight we had.. Stacey; [shakes her head] You shouldnt feel bad. I shouldnt have gone out with Joe. It was selfish and stupid.. Tori; [smirks slightly] Well, you can you out with him now, if you want to. IM not interested in dating HIM again. Stacey; [laughs humorlessly] Thanks but no thanks. [smiles] So—does this mean the fight is over? Tori; Guess so. [smiles weakly] Er—we should hug. Stacey; Ha. [hugs Tori and smiles] Tori; And Im really sorry about—about your mom—dying and everything.. [smiles sympathetically] Stacey; [her eyes water slightly] Oh—thats okay.. Tori; Er—[hesitates] Can I use your phone? I have to call..someone.. Stacey; [sighs] Nick? Tori; [laughs weakly] Yeah..Nick.. Stacey; [groans] Sure.. [hands Tori her phone.] Tori; [calls Nick] Umm—Nick? Nick; T-Tori!? [sounds relieved] Are you using Staceys phone? Tori; Um—yeah—listen—Im okay, if youve actually been worried.. Nick; [sounds offended] I HAVE been worried. What happened? Tori; Ill explain it to you in person—um, go to Staceys house, Ill meet you there. Nick; I cant. Im in the hospital. Tori; WHAT!? Nick; Yeah—remember Zac from school? The guy who thought you were cute? Tori; Yea, I do. Nick; He ATTACKED me.. Tori; [gasps] Why? Nick; Uhm.. [thinks about why, and doesnt want to tell Tori..] Er, it doesnt matter why. I just did something bad to him, thats all. Tori; [is suspicious, but drops the subject] Uh—Ill come to the hospital! Okay? Nick; Yeah. [smiles] See you soon. Tori; [smiles] Bye. [hangs up] Er—Stacey, I need a ride to the hospital. Do you think your cousin could—? Stacey; [interrupts her] Matt! Could you give us a ride to the hospital? Matt; [from the other room] Yeah. Meet you in the car. [goes to the car] Stacey; [smiles weakly] Well, lets go.
