Maybe because they never confessed their feelings for each other. It's Monday and the whole school is talking about the concert. Apparently some girls from school were there and now the boys cover was blown. Joe and Charlotte were even closer but Kat and Nick wern't talking. She was however wearing his gift. They are eating lunch. (silence) Joe: So. How was your weekend Kat? Kat: Fine. Joe: Did you get anything intresting for your birthday? Kat: Just the truth. (she glares at Nick) Joe: Okk... Nick: So...how are things with Kristie? Joe: Ok I guess. She's a pretty face but there's no personality. Charlotte: *cough* told ya *cough* Joe: Ok. No need to rub it in my face. Nick: How are things with whats his name? Charlotte: His name is Joshua and things are going great. Kat: See you guys later. (she gets up to walk away but Nick follows her) Nick: Why won't you talk to me? Kat: I have nothing to say. Nick: Honestly I'm sorry. You've got to believe that. Kat: I do. But I just can't trust you anymore. And without trust there is no friendship. Nick: Are you saying we're not friends anymore? Kat: (nods her head) Nick: If thats what you want then I'm ok. As long as your happy. I guess I'll see you through the window. (he walks away and leaves her standing alone. She always watched him through her window but she never knew he did the same.) Kevin is at home waiting until it's time to go to collage. He decides to go for a drive. He gets into his car and drives to the park and sits by the pond watching the ripples. Chantelle: Is this spot taken? (A french girl came and sat near Kevin. She had a thick accent and pouty lips. She was pale and wearing a head scarf and sunglasses.) Kevin: Urm..no. Feel free. Chantelle: Thanks. My name is Chantelle. Kevin: Hi. I'm Kevin. Chantelle: You look sad? What's thee matter? Kevin: Girl troubles. Maybe you could help. Chantelle: A handsome man like you with girl problems. I cannot believe it! Kevin: Yeah. (laughs) I'm crazy about this girl but she doesn't seem to realise how wonderful she is, so she waste's her time with her loser boyfriend. Chantelle: Have you told her how you feel? Kevin: Yeah. But she got upset and said we should just be friends. I havn't spoke to her since. Chantelle: Just give her some time. I'm sure she'll come to her senses. Kevin: Thanks. (looks at his watch) Shoot!
