After years as working as waitress in other restaurants Donna and Deb set out in what would be one great success story. Day in and day out, from 5 a.m. until 3 in the afternoon The Diner has become the place where folks not only go for great food but the Diner is also known for having some of the best coffee you'll find anywhere. Its also a place where there are no strangers no matter whether you've been a customer for all these years or just happened to be passing through. There are a lot of stories that has taken place at the Diner in Pendleton over the years. One that is really special is about the coffee Donna and Deb serve to customers. A solider who was serving in Iraq heard about the Diner and the coffee while overseas. Upon his returned home he made a trip to The Diner in Pendleton enjoy a cup of the coffee he had heard about. Great food, great coffee, plus homemade pies, and friendship abound at The Diner in Pendleton, Indiana day in and day out. There is no way anyone can go wrong with a combination like that. Makes no difference where youre from, a local or just passing through. There are a couple of things for sure. Youre going to have a great meal and youll probably make a friend or two before you leave. Oh, and dont forget to have some coffee.
