AKA "Magic Moments with Mom" "Tiramisu Bowl" Kraft Foods Cooking Video Challenge AS Paul Harvey says.... "The rest of the story!" These are some last minute cooking videos Mikey (my 15 year old son) made for a contest, I didn't even know the recipe (you have to make one of theirs) & he only had 2 hours to film edit & submit! I've made similar concoctions but always with whatever I have handy...no recipe! Then AFTER WE MADE IT, we read where "no one under 18 could be in it" & that it could only be 3 minutes long :shock: **we did not know all the rules BEFORE we shot it!.........so we had to edit it down & take all the kids scenes out....at the very LAST MINUTE so that finished submission was pretty rough! Note to self: Read ALL Rules BEFORE starting anything! Hmmmmmm now where have I heard that before??? OH! Yes, I've said that in my lecturing to the kids (Face VERY red!) So he used the footage he had taken when he was testing the lighting (the practice stuff with me saying "um" all the time!) & he made the deadline with only minutes to spare! Then we saw everyone else's really GREAT videos.... bummer! There is no way it will win, but he had fun shooting it, & we learned the importance of a script & the reading of RULES BEFORE startind anything! In the Long video "Magic Moments with Mom" He made a BLOOPER reel at the end for Heather (my daughter who is in the Air Force) to see, you will see some of the mistake as we made it, also I had a chemical burn on my face that's why I was holding ice on my eye in the blooper part, it wouldn't stop tearing!) I had just finished grilling about 30 pounds of Tandoori chicken outside ALL morning, it was about 35 degrees outside BRRRR!!! Then I ran in & did this for him, so I really look rough, but I figured no one would really see it unless I TOLD them to watch it!
