Title: Super Tornadosphere Lake: a lucid poem View count: 258 Rating: 4.6 (5 ratings) Description: *Sorry for the choppy audio, that is the fault of the video editor that I used.* This video presents a poem I made. The poem is inspired by one of the lucid dreams I had in mid-December 2008 here: http://www.lucidipedia.com/logbook/index.php?section=view&dreamnumber=1&date=2008-12-14 Note that you need to have an account at lucidipedia and be logged in to view the link above. For people who want a printable version: It was a deep, dark blue midnight, in another world of some sort. The beach was cold and deserted. It was like a soft Tim Horton's donut with white icing, but no sprinkles. The sky was huge, with it's dark-blue colors and bright starlight shining out like never before. Clusters of stars surrounded the beach and the purple-blue sky. Around the water, you could see almost nothing but beautiful, damp green pine trees. In the center was the moon, with it's bright light shimmering in the cold touch of the waters and illuminating everything in sight. The moon was abnormally large, unlike what you would expect on Earth. It was covered in blue-grey clouds and had an icy white texture. In the deep darkness of the forest around the lake, it was so cold I could see my breath billowing out into the bright moonlight. The frigid air was like a blade of ice ready to slit my cheeks. I covered up in my warm, comfy green blanket and shivered vigorously. I then had an extreme flash of deja-vu. This place seemed exceedingly similar to the setting in one of my dreams, one that happened a few weeks earlier. The suspense was building up inside me like a bright fire. Is this the same setting that had occured to me in that last dream? Covered in suspicion, I shivered and looked down at my pale, dark blue hands. It was a miracle! I could see through them. "This IS the exact same setting as the other dream," I exclaimed, now knowing that I was, in fact, still laying in bed at home. As the cold, white moonlight filled the air, I walked out of the deep green forest. Seeing the moonlight and how bright it was, I almost collapsed in awe. It all seemed so real! I walked crookedly over the hard rocks, and I looked closely at some of them. One rock that I found had a very interesting lustre. The rock was shiny and dark purple with a hint of pink around the outside. I then walked over to the wooden pole near the dock. It was still there from the other dream and nothing had damaged it, but a few small hints of ice showed up here and there. Being on that thought, I wondered how the waters on the lake did not completely freeze up. I then took a moment to remind myself that it was all a dream. It was a fascinating sight, more than I could ever imagine! I took a moment to touch the wooden pole and I could feel its cold hardness on the palm of my hand. I began on my slow, solemn journey down the icy dock. In the extreme cold I could feel sudden warmth coming from inside as I jetted off into the frigid air. There was an intense burst of energy as I flew through the cold, dark night sky. While I was on my course of flying, I could feel the icy breeze through my hair as I said to myself, "This IS Super Tornadosphere Lake."
