Title: Strange and Beautiful......// A Jemi One Shot View count: 139 Rating: 5.0 (1 ratings) Description: Strange and Beautiful -10 years ago- (Jemi was 7 years old) I ran around the backyard, feeling more powerful then ever. I turned around, and saw Joe with a bucket. "Oh yeah! Feeling wet Lovato?" said Joe as he dumped water on me. Just then, I ran to the house, grabbed the hose, and came back. I turned it on as I saw his surpised face. "Look who's talking!" As he came towards me, I dropped the hose and ran towards the treehouse. "That's not fair! I wasn't ready!" He was such a girly guy, always wanting to be right. But, I loved him. We were both in our treehouse. Both wet, though happy. "I have something to tell you," I said. I looked down, not wanting to say it. "I'm moving....to California." I don't think he could believe it, since he just stared at me. "I'm going to be on Barney. I just found out yesterday." "Could you say hi to him for me?" I looked at him. Either he was about to cry or he was just so drenched. "Sure." I reached in to give him a hug. I didn't think I could leave my best friend. -present time- I walked out of McDonalds as the paparazzi lights flashed on and off, on and off. They asked me so many questions, especially about the new movie, Camp Rock. I haven't even read the script, so I couldn't answer any questions. I ran into my car, started it, and drove to set. When I walked in, I only saw Selena. "Hey Demi!" she said as she ran to give me a hug. "Hey! I've missed you SO much," I said. I got out the script and walked towards my dressing room. "You haven't read it?! It's so epic, though it's sort of a kid's movie, it's way cool," she got out her copy and flipped to a page. "Read this," she said. "I'm so-" "Read it, NOW!" I skimmed the page, until something caught my eye. "Joe and Demi kiss on stage." I looked at her wide-eyed. "How can I kiss someone I don't even know?" Though, the same sounded familiar. I remembered him, but couldn't pick out detail on his face. Just then, he walked in. He was so cute, but I couldn't have him. It made me want to scream, I'd love to lay in his arms. "Hi, I'm Joe." His voice, it was so familiar. And he seemed like such a girly guy, UGH! Where have I seen him before?!?! "Demi. Demi Lovato," I said. Once I did, it was the first time I'd breathed after he'd walked in. "Hey, are yo-" His security interupted. "Joe, fans outside." I looked at Selena, she looked at me. We both looked upset. "Okay, coming. And as for you Demi, I'll see you on stage," he said as he walked toward the screaming fans. Joe Jonas, other wise known as the mystery man. It was the day. The day of the kiss, more like the moment. I got my outfit on and walked towards the director. "Demi Lovato," he said with an english accent. "You say your lines, then Joe will look at you, you look at him, kissy kissy. Kapeesh?" I almost laughed, haha. "Kapeesh," I said. "Kapeesh," Joe said, with a smile that'd make any girl melt. "Okay, places please!" I sat down on the little x as I heard the director shout action. I looked up, expecting to see Joe. Instead, I felt gallons of water run down my back. "Hey, Who do you think you are?!" I was drenched. "Feeling wet, Lovato?" It wasn't a question, because I knew the answer. It was him. I ran outside, grabbed the hose, and came back. By now, all the crew had evacuated the set, not wanting to get wet. I saw Joe's surprised face as I sprayed him with a hose. "Look who's talking!" I smiled and laughed. "It's you," he said. "It's me." "I only joined acting because I missed you so much," he said, acting girly again. "Your my best friend," we both shouted at the same time. "Jinx!" we said together, again. We both laughed and sat down. I closed my eyes. When I opened them, I felt Joe's soft lips against mine. I kissed him back, not wanting this moment to end. Was it a dream? Was it fate? Both are correct, but most importantly... It was strange and beautiful. Please no hate comments, it's my first one-shot like this. ANYWAYS, Question 1: Like it? Question 2: Thoughts?
