Title: Step Up for Community View count: 14 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: On Thursday, September 24, 2009 the people of Wellington Heights and Mound View neighborhoods came together for a Day of Prayer & Step Up Walk for Community! Food was prepared by the 1st Ave Hy-Vee and donated by the 1st Ave Uptown College Merchants and was served in the St. Pauls UMC Church parking lot. The purpose of day of prayer and walk was to bring the community together, raise awareness and to show those who commit crime that we are concerned citizens and we want a healthy and safe community everywhere—and on every block—for our children and us to live, learn and play. You dont have to move to live in a better neighborhood!
