Title: Sharon Tate/Dorothy Stratten (Songbird) View count: 1841 Rating: 4.9 (10 ratings) Description: Sharon Tate (1943-1969) and Dorothy Stratten (1960-1980), were two beautiful, talented and well-liked up-and-coming young actresses whose lives were tragically and brutally taken from this world same month, 11 years and five days apart. They had much in common, and projected a similar innocence and sophistication onscreen, while offscreen they remained unaffected, shy, and kind girls who impressed and deeply affected those they met. When you hear someone describe either woman, you'll find that the qualities attributed to them are almost identical in terms of inner and outer beauty, a love of animals, and intelligence that went beyond the blonde stereotype that still prevades in Hollywood today. I put together some great photos of Sharon and Dorothy, to a rendition of "Songbird" by Eva Cassidy (1963-1996), another talented and gifted young artist who graced this earth very briefly. Although all three of these lovely young women were destined to only be on this plane for a short time, this does not deter from the wonderful gifts that they shared with us when they were here. Enjoy. DISCLAIMER: All photos, stills, clips and music are copyrighted to their respective owners. No infringement intended.
