Kevin sits up on the bed and stretches out, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes he sees Lauren sleeping angelically with a smile on her face. He kisses her cheek lightly before making his way into the bathroom to wash up. He comes back in the room to see her laying on the bed yawning, she looks up at him and smiles. "Good morning, and happy thanksgiving" She barely says through her yawn Kevin smiles "Good morning Lauren, how you feeling?" He asked. "Im feeling good, why would I be feeling otherwise?" She asked "I dont know" He shrugged "It's just things sort of happened quickly last night, through the argument and fighting and all" Kevin said taking a seat next to her. "I know, and I feel so horrible, you have no idea for making you cry, that was something I never in a million years thought I would do to someone and I feel guilty" "It's ok, I mean I have some fault in this, but Im just happy that you're mine again" he said giving her a big hug. "Come on, get washed up so we can help everyone downstairs. Lauren scurried into the bathroom. Both got ready and made their way into the kitchen to see everyone helping out with something. Sam and Joe were stuffing the turkey and looking disgusted "What if my hand gets stuck?" Joe whines "It wont Joe, your stuffin his butt and he's dead I think the hole is big enough" Samantha tells him. Lauren shakes her head and laughs. Kevin takes her hand and leads her over to the desert and they prepare to make three apple pies. Jaime and Nick were setting up the tables, making sure the silverware were spotless. An hour into the preparations the doorbell rings. Nick goes to open the door and a huge smile plasters onto his face. "Angel!" Nick screams hugging the person standing by the door, her blue eyes closed, a smile plastered on her face while her blonde curls swing around as Nick is spinning her. "Nick! Nick, Imma puke!" She said smacking his back slightly. He lets her down and pulls her into a hug. "Sorry, I just missed you, wow it's great seeing you again, it's been what like 3 years?" "Yup, and you mister" She said poking him "Have not contacted me" "Sorry" He apoligized "You see when you move, and change your number you kind of expect your best friend to fill you in ya know?" "Well, seeing as you were always living your dream, I never had the chance" She defended herself. "Point taken, come on I want you to meet someone" He pulled her into the kitchen being hugged by both Kevin, and Joe, their mom squeezed her so hard saying she missed her extremely. Nick introduced her to the girls and lastly to Jaime. Angel, which real's name is Sarah thought Jaime was perfect for Nick, sweet and quiet just like him. The rest of the day she got to know the girls and they all finished preparing everything. "Hey mom, I need help w.." Joe started "Hold on a minute sweety I have a phone call" She interrupted "Hey! Oh, you're coming over? Sure no problem hun, you're always welcome, Im sure it's no bother at all. Nonsense you were once family, come right over" "Who was that?" Joe asked. "You'll see when she gets here" "I hate suprises" Joe pouted, his mom smiled and patted him on the back --------- [Dinner & a suprise ] Everyone dressed up for dinner, the boys in their button downs and ties, the girls in formal cute dresses. Everyone made their way into the dining room area, the girls settling down next to the boys, nick in between Jaime and Sarah, and Kevin had an empty seat next to him. Before Ms Jonas could sit down the door rang, she went to open the door and seconds later she came in with the guest. When Kevin sat, he was playing with his napkin,Lauren poked him, and when he looked at her she looked annoyed and suprised, she nodded towards the entrance and when he looked, well... "Lena?" He said a bit shocked. "Well this is awkward.." Sarah muttered, she knew what was going on because she saw the news and Nick had filled her in. "Hey Kevin" She gave him a smile which faded slightly when she saw Lauren. "Take a seat next to Kevin dear" Ms Jonas insisted. She did as she was told and the whole room became completley and utterly, quiet. You could say there was an elephant in the room which meant, something is there that is so hard to avoid, but noone says anything about it... ---- Damn.
