The other "offensive" articles cited, those that predate 1990 (when most of the ghostwritten Anti-Black, Anti-Gay stuff starts to show up) and probably were written by Paul, actually aren't offensive or bigoted in any way but are just spun to seem that way. FOR EXAMPLE: Kirchick tries to portray Paul's misgivings about Israel as Anti-Semitism? Yeah, because Israel = JEWS, right? its not like there's a lot of Jews out there that think Israel is FUCKED UP for pursuing what is essentially a policy of genocide against the Palestinian Arabs... Criticizing Israel or being distrustful of Israel IS NOT equal to being Anti-Semitic, no matter how TNR tries to spin it, what BS. Or how about Kirchick's insinuation that Ron is anti-semitic because he compares Salman Rushdie to Ernst Zundel, A Canadian Holocaust-Denier? Absolute BULLSHIT- what Paul's criticism comes down to is freedom of speech. Rushdie publishes something offensive to Muslims then The New Republic DEFENDS his right to freedom of speech and FREE round-the-clock protection from the government (paid for by British taxpayers!) when batshit-crazy Muslims threaten him, yet they also praise Canadian "anti-hate" laws used to jail Zundel for publishing something equally offensive to the Jews (denying the Holocaust)? Ron rightly identifies the principle at jeopardy- "what about the lost distinction that defending someone's right to free speech doesn't necessarily mean agreeing with them?" 2)Militias and 2nd Amendment "absolutism" Concerning Militias... Kirchik attacks against Ron Paul because he urges people that THEY are ultimately responsible for THEIR protection? Wow, I'm so offended that he would urge me to learn how to use a gun (WHICH, By the way was MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT, last time i checked...) to defend myself should the government get out of control, which is EXACTLY WHAT THE FOUNDERS INTENDED THE 2ND AMENDMENT FOR, IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW HISTORY! and that leaves... 3) Conspiracy theories, Trilateral Commission, CFR, etc etc. If you haven't done your homework on these evil mother fuckers yet, then you really do have your head buried in the sand.
