The clock motor does work, but the hands get stuck because the motor is sitting crooked. A little TLC and it would work just fine. The second hand will fall off and it is broke in 2 pieces, but we have both pieces. It is 36" from top to bottom, 36" from side to side, and 5" from front to back.
