And just when she thought she was free from Ovarian Cancer, she would get the news. Ovarian Cancer was back. Today, Sharon's Ovarian Cancer has been in remission for 5 years. She credits her Ovarian Cancer journey with giving her a new purpose in life and "a new level of joy." Because of Ovarian Cancer, Sharon founded the organization "Bald is Beautiful" which is dedicated to helping women with Ovarian Cancer and other kinds of cancer feel beautiful while they're fighting Cancer.
