Title: Orihime Inoue & Kuchiki Rukia - Stop Putting Me Down! View count: 13421 Rating: 4.8512397 (242 ratings) Description: *flashing lights warning! O:* I know not many people read these descriptions but for anyone that doesn't quite get the whole Rukia/Orihime/Ichigo thing, do read on. I'm hoping to clarify a lot of misconceptions about these characters. And I really need to rant this out, i just love writing about these two. xD The AMV title /isn't/ the song title for once but it seemed so much more appropriate. :3 The main focus of the video is that all these crazy American and European viewers are raping Kubo's characters with their brutally mis-guided hatred. These days people cant stand the fact that god forbid, a boy and a girl can actually just be friends without wanting to take It to romantic levels. Rukia and Ichigo have been made in to this huge kind of...cult. Ichiruki now reminds me of religion. The sheer fact that theyre male and female is enough to justify that they're in love. Some say Ichiruki isn't real because there is no evidence to support this apart from fans only seeing what they want to see. Others say it is the ONLY way and you must be blind not to see it, because its so blindingly obvious in the way Ichigo and Rukia act towards each other. Others simply don't care because they just want to enjoy Bleach for what it bloody well is. XD And then along came Orihime. So many people don't read the manga and couldn't see her crush coming for miles, the anime really hid it well by removing some of her earliest signs. As soon as she started showing signs in the anime, Ichiruki went on the offensive. You'd think she went about cruicifying babies or something, the way people speak of her character. They refuse to listen to reason, the role of Orihime Inoue has always seemed to me to be a symbol of what women have represented since forever ago. Kind, careing, protective, selfless and loving. The character has never done anything wrong unless people think falling in love is something women can't do anymore without being considered a filthy whore. Now I know Rukia gets put down too but lets be honest here, Rukia's strength and kindness as a character are pretty damn easy to see. Theres nothing /there/ to misunderstand, the hatred is just a load of immature ichihime fans getting pissed off because Ichigo hasn't noticed Hime yet. With Orihime, people are choosing to take all these decisions she makes in the story and turn them in to something they aren't. This is just an opinion but no one ever seems to think that Kubo might be breaking the mould here by using TWO female leads? Rukia, having the traces of romance removed to develop her as a character that neither wants or needs romance and Orihime as a secondary plot line that builds a romance with the male lead without disrupting Rukia's integrity. I'm not saying its impossible or it will never happen but Rukia is perfect the way she is, feelings for Ichigo at this stage would feel unnesescary and sudden because shes gone in a different direction. We've seen whats going on in her head, and its got nothing to do with Ichigos heart. (again, just opinion ^^) Rukia and Orihime are such good friends, you know I honestly think if Rukia had the slightest clue how hime felt about Ichigo she'd bop her on the head and say 'What are you waiting for? Go tell him, you idiot!'. Shes taken Hime under her wing, she doesn't care that Orihime wasn't able to kill half of soul society to rescue her, the very fact that she /came/ was enough for her to realise how special this ordinary high school girl is. Orihime is no traitor as many seem to think. She went to H.M to keep her friends from harm. What Yamamoto said is CONJECTURE, people! XD Its not fact. Rukia marched right in there with the rest of the fantastic five and yes, she was nearly lost whilst Hime was locked away in her cell. Honestly, what do people expect her to do? Break the door down with her super human strength she doesn't have? Even if she used tsubaki, what then? Take down every arrancar aizen throws at her? For most, that's reason enough to hate her. Because she couldn't and wouldn't do that. So many people think strength is just determined by how hard you can hit someone but that's not the case. Its not always how about how much pain you can inflict on others but how much pain you can take from them and still remain a good person. Now im not saying they're both to be universally liked, we all have those characters that just really get to us, but I just hope people will stop ignoring the way Kubo has written them, because it may just be a story but I tell you, you can learn a lot about how to be a good person from these girls characters. Rant over. =D Thumbs up, soldiers. Tags: bleach, amv, tribute, music, video, orihime, inoue, kuchiki, rukia, kurosaki, ichigo, ichihime, ichiruki, Author: Northstar1109 |
