Title: Online Video 2.0 - 5 Applications that are Changing the Game View count: 1018 Rating: 5.0 (9 ratings) Description: http://freelinereport.com/ Online videos are a fantastic way to advertise your business. Not only do they get your name out to the public, it helps create a connection between the buyer and the seller. But keeping up with this ever-changing technology can be daunting, to say the least. On today's extended edition of the Free Line Report, we're taking a look at five free programs that are changing the game, each one more impressive than the last. http://freelinereport.com/freeline-7-21-08 So, you've got an idea in mind for a great video, but find that your editing skills aren't quite up to par. If this is you, then we highly recommend checking out Animoto. Simply upload some images, add an audio track of your choice, and Animoto does the rest, syncing up edits with the music of your choice. http://freelinereport.com/freeline-7-21-08 Let's say that you've graduated past the random "still" image. Maybe you want to incorporate pre-made video into your presentation. Don't worry, because MuveeMix has it all covered. MuveeMix takes in your audio track, throws in some video of your choice, and then edits it on the fly. The result? A professional looking video with little effort on your part. http://freelinereport.com/freeline-7-21-08 Some of us, however, might not be as content letting a website have all the fun. For a more hands-on approach to editing, there's JumpCut from Yahoo. JumpCut is like a web-based iMovie, allowing you to edit, splice, overlay, and more, all from your browser. One of the coolest features is that you can import media directly from your facebook page or your flikr account. You also get a special email address, that your friends can use to send you clips from their mobile phones. http://freelinereport.com/freeline-7-21-08 Want to take the online video mixing concept a step further? Check out EyeSpot. With EyeSpot, you can embed a video editor into your website, allowing other people to come in and edit videos at their will. Eyespot is free, but there is one limitation. A 100 MB upload limit doesn't get you very far with video content. Hopefully, they'll up this limit soon. If not, someone will. There's no stopping the Free Line. http://freelinereport.com/freeline-7-21-08 And now for the big one. What I'm about to show you is going to change the very meaning of online video. Kaltura is a free and open source VIDEO PLATFORM! It means that now anybody can add a full featured video solution to their website for free! Functionality includes uploading, transcoding, remixing, annotating, sharing, search, and just about anything else you can think of. A plugin has just been released that let's you add Kaltura video to a wiki and a WordPress plugin is coming soon. Keep your eye on our own Free Line wiki. We'll be implementing this very soon. Its just to cool. As always, check out the links at FreeLineReport.Com. http://freelinereport.com/freeline-7-21-08 Tags: brad-fallon, web-2.0, online-video, jumpcut, kaltura, muveemix, animoto, eyespot, remix, Author: bradfallon |
