I was laying on top of my made bed, still wearing my clothes from yesterday. Including Joe's jacket. Before I could even contemplate how amazing this was, my phone rung again. I sat up, and answered it. "About time you answered your phone" a familar voice said. "Yeah, what ever happened to calling us last night?" another voice said. "Well hello to you too,Brooke and Ashley." I said, laughing. "Hi." They both chimed. "Ok. So we want all the details!" Brooke said. "Did you say hi to Kevin for me??" Brooke said, cutting her off. "Brooke, a little straight forward aren't we?! But since you mentioned it. . Did you say hi to nick for me?!" "Yes, and yes." I replied. "Look, how about you come over in, like, 10 minutes, and I will tell you guys EVERYTHING!" "Ok. Ashley, I will come pick you up on my way there. And I am sooo bringing starbucks!"Brooke said. "Byes!"We all said before hanging up. Taking this as a good sign to get ready, I got up. *** "Holy crap. So you are telling me that you are wearing JOE JONAS' jacket right now?" Ashley screamed. "And inside of it, you found a piece of paper, with his PHONE NUMBER on it?!" Brooke said. I had just gotten done telling them everything from the night before, and now we were gathered on the living room floor, slurping down the last bit of our starbucks. "Yes. Can you believe it??" I said. "Well, have you called him yet?" Brooke said, chucking her cup into the trash can against the wall. "No, not yet. I wanted to wait to tell you guys." "Well we're here now." "and we know! So what are you waiting for?!" "CALL HIM!!" They both shouted. "Ok. Here goes nothing. . ." "Make sure to play it cool,"Brooke said," Don't get all star-struck!" "Yeah, the last thing you need to do is tell him I Love You, Have My Babies", Ashley said, as we all started laughing. I reached into the pocket of the jacket, and pulled out the piece of paper. As I typed in the digits, one by one, I couldn't help but wonder if this was all really happening. I took a deep breath, and pressed the green call button. After what seemed like the longest "ringing" ever, a voice picked up on the other line. "Hello?" "Hi. This is Kasie." "Hey Kasie! What's up?" Maybe it had just been me, but his voice seemed happier as he said my name. "Not much. I do, however, think I have something you might want." "Ah, yes my jacket. I was wondering where that went." He said, laughing. "If you were anybody else, I would probably keep it. It IS a very nice jacket. But, since your soo nice. . ." "How sweet of you," he laughed," But what kind of guy would I be, if I purposely left my jacket,and then I got it back and just left? How about I pick you, and the jacket up at 7 Saturday?" "Saturday, hmm." I said glancing over at Brooke and Ashley, who, upon hearing this, began screaming. "Sorry," I said, "those screams were my best friends." "Thats ok. So Saturday?" "Sounds like a plan!" I was about to think that nothing could make this call better when I heard Kevin ,in the background, scream something about Brooke. Nick then piped in something about Ashley. "Well," Joe said, "It seems like my brothers are dying to meet Brooke and Ashley, so how about we make it a triple-date?" "That sounds great!" "Ok! We are about to go do a concert, but I will talk to you later. Ok?" "Ok. Bye Mr.Smooooth" "Ha, Ha. I like that. Bye Kasie" As we hung up, I turned towards my friends, and screamed.
