It went completely quiet until all the girls realised they werent dreaming. In a flash the huge mob of girls ran towards us. I quickly moved over to the other side of the room escaping them. There were a couple of guys screaming too. Gay, I thought. Poor Joe ended up signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans. I walked over to my cousin Dionne and stayed with him. "I cant believe you brought Joe Jonas to do the Deb with you." He said. "yeah, I'm finding it hard to believe too." "what happened to Steve?" I looked at him and he got the hint that I didnt wanna talk about it. I looked around the room and spotted a familiar person watching Joe. His face and the way he was standing made me realise who it was. My body became wild with rage, as I wondered what the hell he was doing here. Dionne noticed me watching him and looked over aswell, figuring out how I felt. "I do not believe this" I murmured, only loud enough for Dionne to hear. "that is just plain low" he replied. Dionnes partner Erica showed up at our sides. "Oh My God I cant believe you know the Jonas Brothers!! This is so cool!!" she said. But I had my whole attention focused on the boy. He turned and noticed me and quickly turned away. That made me even more mad. Joe had finally finished with his autograph and pictures and joined me by my side. "I forgot to bring Big Rob" he said jokingly. But I wasnt listening and he realised. "Whats up Sam? Youve been so quiet ever since the car ride" "Look" I pointed over to the guy. Joe looked over, confused. "What?" "Thats Steve" "Oh. Whats he doing here?" "I dont know" I kept watching and noticed a girl walk up to him and take his hand. She dragged him over to where we were. He obviously didnt want to follow her but she made him. They joined our little closed circle but only Steves partner, Debbie, was speaking. "OMG I cant believe Joe Jonas is standing right infront of me!" Joe gave a nervous chuckle before she went on. "OMG can I please have another picture with you, you know, for my myspace?" "Um..." Joe looked over at me waiting for my approval. "please?" Debbie asked, they were both looking at me now. "um yeah." "AWSOME!" Debbie dragged Joe to the other side of the room. "Well were gonna sit down" Erica said and took Dionne with her, leaving me with Steve. Oh great, I thought, this is fantastic. Steve broke the awkward silience. "Hey um Sam, Im sorry that I..." he was lost for words. "Save it. I dont wanna here your excuses" "I just thought you wouldnt find out because you wont do the Deb without me" he turned to look at Joe, "but it looks like you found another partner." I wasnt gonna listen to his bull so I just walked away. I stood by myself in a corner. I was mad, upset and confused all at the same time. I couldnt believe that Steve had actually blown me off to do the Deb with another girl, and to think that I had a chance with him. Joe noticed me by myself and immediately sent Debbie away to be at my side. "You look like you need a hug" he said, and immediately put his arms gently around me. "Thanks" I managed to say. He tried to go back to his clowning phase. "If you want, I can totally bash him up. I mean.." He started he pulled his sleeve back revealing his muscles "it wouldnt be that hard considering our new sheriffs" I could hear many girls sighing and I laughed. Our teacher came in and we practiced the dances. Joe caught on really quick and was really good. I was always the one stuffing up. After an hour we had to sit down and Grace (the teacher) was telling us how our dresses should be, and our hair etc etc. I noticed Nick and Kevin watching from the window and wondered how long they were watching us. After it was over, the girls came back running to Joe for last minute pictures. Luckily Big Rob came to the door and got us both out before they could catch up to Joe and I. We ran to the car laughing. Kevin was driving. "What were you two doing near the window?" I asked. Nick laughed. "Actually I really wanted to see Joe dance" Joe glared at Nick for a second before turning to face me.
