Title: Nokia N82 Firmware Updated to v31.0.016 View count: 2892 Rating: 3.75 (4 ratings) Description: This is my Nokia N82 phone after updating the firmware from v20.0.062 to v31.0.016 via Nokia Software Updater. Yes I skipped v30.0.019 to v31.0.016 directly without a problem. New firmware software size was about 114MB and took around 20 minutes to download and 10 to 15 minutes to update the phone. Phone restarted and viola, new firmware was ready to use. Before I updated, I backed up all my stuff from the phone and did a *#7370# hard reset and got the phone to original settings. I use a custom theme called New Black which I think looks awesome compared to anything else Ive seen so far for the N82. My personal changelog 1.Browsing through the phone menus are much faster. 2.Call end hang/ freeze bug taken care of. 3.My phone had a profiles automatically changing issue which has now gone away. 4.Theres a new icon called My Nokia but says wont work in my country. 5.Camera to video switching much faster. 6.Music player volume is the same but bass has somewhat dropped. 7.Battery life seems to be better but still not sure. Usual is about 20 hours of normal use. 8.Most of the software I had on the phone installed again without a problem. 9.Camera flash seems to be a bit brighter. 10.N-gage demo loads much faster. 11.YouTube videos can be viewed now with the official YouTube software. I couldnt watch any YouTube videos online previously. 12.Auto-rotate much smoother I will update this list once I see more changers.
