View count: 40 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: Two Clawson neighbors are facing charges, accused of moving a couple's property out of a foreclosed house, nailing the doors and windows shut and posting a no trespassing sign on the side of the house. Monica Kaufman and Timothy Simon have been charged with illegal entry and malicious destruction of a building. Both charges are misdemeanors. Police say Kaufman and Simon boarded up the house in the 100 block of East Tacoma on September 13. Officers say a couple in their early 20s was renting the house, which had gone into foreclosure. The couple came home the next day and found all their property on the porch. Investigators say Simon called them and said that with he and Kaufman were taking back their street. He also told police the home was an abandoned drug house.
