Title: My Freeze Ray: Kinetic Typography View count: 357 Rating: 4.888889 (9 ratings) Description: This was my first time ever using After Effects, and also my first time making a kinetic typography. I learned a lot about what NOT to do, and my next one should reflect that. If I had to guess, I'd say it took me 8-10 hours, over the course of 3 days. This is a song from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, starring Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day. The song is called "My Freeze Ray", and it is the first song featured in the short. Some may incorrectly refer to this song as "Laundry Day". I HIGHLY recommend this mini-movie. You can watch it for free on Hulu. On another note, I had some issue with the audio syncing upon exporting... probably has to do with the framerate in relation to the native speed of the audio file. I'm still getting used to After Effects, so bare with me if the sound is a little bit off. My degree is actually in 3D computer animation, so if you'd like to see what I really do, you can go to my website at www.3djustin.com. Lyrics: Laundry day, see you there Underthings tumbling Want to say love your hair Here I go mumbling With my freeze ray I will stop the world With my freeze ray I will find the time to find the words to Tell you how, how you make Make me feel, what's the phrase Like a fool, kind of sick Special needs, anyways With my freeze ray I will stop the pain It's not a death ray or an icebeam that's all Johnny Snow I just think you need time to know That I'm the guy to make it real The feelings you don't dare to feel I'll bend the world to my will And we'll make time stand still That's the plan, rule the world You and me, anyday Love your hair "What?" "No, I love the AIR" Anyway With my freeze ray I will stop Tags: dr. horrible, my freeze ray, sing-along blog, kinetic typography, laundry day, justin zawislak, Author: SeraphsWitness |
