Great. This guy is calling me a little lady. Weirdo. "Uh no?" "This is a thirty mile-per-hour road, and you were going sixty," He says, "May I see your drivers license please?" Oh crap, I really hope I have mine. I have not driven in forever, not since before Nick... I rummage around in my purse, "Hold on, officer," I know I have it somewhere, It has to be here! What do they do if you are speeding and don't have your license? Do they take you in? I can't be taken in now! I find it in a side pocket of my purse. Thank goodness! "Here you go," I say with a smile. He takes a few seconds to look at it, then hands it back to me, I smile at him and put it in my pocket. "Here is a ticket," he says, writing a ticket and handing it to me. "Thank you," I say. Why do people say thank you? I mean, I have to pay this guy now. Ugh. I wait for him to get back into his car, then I step on my pedal and go as fast I can go, under the speed limit to the graveyard.
