Top prize is a free car, $5000 cash, a job at MuchMusic for 2 months with travel expenses paid for and a downtown loft to live at. We used it as an excuse to make some short films, and gained one win, and 3 runner up spots over 3 years (2000, 2001 & 2002). For MuchTemp 2000 I shot this for Ellery one afternoon with my little cousins, and he got 2nd place (that was the year I won 1st place shooting a script he wrote). This turned out nothing like we were hoping (the vision was to have skilled actor kids with lots of time to rehearse, instead we used my cousins, with only two hours to setup and shoot) but we still found it funny, and I guess so did MuchMusic. For those of you not familiar with the VJ's of MuchMusic back in 2000, they are the names that the kids reference in this skit including Rick The Temp, Namugenyi Kiwanuka, Bradford How, Rachael Perry and George Stroumboulopoulos.
