Title: Meteos Wars - Mission Mode 4-1 - Geolyte View count: 414 Rating: 4.68 (25 ratings) Description: The Metamo Ark managed to seriously damage Planet Meteo, and now we're moving in for the finishing blow. It looks like it's still got some fight left in it, and it's not going down that easy. We've got yet another batch of planets succumbing to the Meteos raining down on them. Up next is Geolyte. It's the "main character" planet. You've probably seen the little blue guy with the horns before. Geolyte looks pretty familiar, doesn't it? It's this game's counterpart for Earth and definitely bears a striking resemblance. Geolyte is 9,800 kilometers in diameter, making it a bit smaller than our Earth. It's inhabited by 5.8 billion people, and it's characterized by land and water at the surface and an atmosphere full of clouds. The Geolytes are a happy bunch, and they seem to have a civilization that's advanced much the same way as Earth's. Geolyte is the planet recommended if you're just starting out the game. It's got the usual 9 columns and 5 colors, and except for the dark green Herb Meteos, they're of equal frequency. It's never hard to find Meteos to match up. Geolyte has normal ignition strength, normal fall speed, normal Speeder properties, normal thawing time for burnt Meteos, normal Meteo weight, and normal traits for garbage blocks. It's the easiest one to learn and the simplest to master, though not necessarily the most effective since it lacks the weird tricks you could do with some of the harder-to-learn planets. The balance in this game is pretty nice though, so don't be afraid to main Geolyte if you want to. Geolyte has the Gambit Planet Impact. It's the most straightforward of the Planet Impacts as is thus the easiest one to understand: It slows down the frequency of Meteos on your side while increasing the frequency on your opponent's side. It also has the same effect for severity of garbage block assaults and other Planet Impacts. However, you must activate Gambit before the opponent activates his or her Planet Impact for the effect to be lessened. Victory here is as straightforward as the planet it's set on. We continue forward to Jeljel, a planet with incredibly high temperatures and definitely not very inhabitable for the Geolytes.
