Title: Lenders expecting less repossessions View count: 1 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: Lenders have reduced their predictions for the number of repossessions this year by over a third. Earlier this year, the Council of Mortgage Lenders had expected seventy five thousand homes to be repossessed in 2009. But they have now revised that to just under fifty thousand, after their own figures showed a smaller-than-expected increase in the third quarter of the year. The group said that low interest rates and leniency from lenders had helped protect many from losing their homes. Tags: news, Author: MyFinancesBulletin |
