Both trains will depart from Tanjung Pagar at 0740 Hours. They will be decoupled at Johor Bahru as Train 2Up is an express train stopping at major stations heading towards Butterworth, Penang while Train 26Up is a Local Mail stopping at every station heading towards Gua Musang, Kelantan. Train 2Up will depart first from Johor Bahru towards Kempas Baru while Train 26Up will depart abit later when Train 2Up has cleared from Kempas Baru Station.
