This week Mollie Cooney shows Central Iowa Artists Cooperative gallery located inside Merle Hay Mall, is intended to be a hub of local paintings, jewelry, sculpture and other imaginative artworks. The gallery was the vision of two local artists, painter Monika Agic of Art by Magic and photographer Dana Barrer. The idea came out of the desire to have a location for artists to share their art year-round, instead of just at art shows.
