I rolled out of bed and shook nick and joe nad said dad wants us up remeber it is chore day. see we have a day a month that we do alot of chores other than our regular ones. We all walked down staires and dad 3 lists in his hands one for me one for joe and one for nick. K me and your mom are going to see your grandmother in the nursing home. and I expect all of these things done before I get back or else young men. That or else sended shivers down me and my brothers spine caus ethat or else ment a meeting with either the paddle or dads belt. See we are a christian family and dad follows the bible like a guide. He belives that is the only way that is how his dad raised him and thats how he raises us. He handed us our list and said have fun and left. Now I am all about just getting it done less complaining how ever as soon as dad left joe started complaining. This really sucks he said a nice day and we are stuck doing chores.Every one else is swimming or playing outside not us. Joe just stop and lets get it done. So we started the chores mine said bathroom-trash-vacum-rake leaves. Joes said-dust-windows-garbage disposile- and laundry just put away ours.Nicks said-dishes-counter tops-beds-mud room. So we all started and I finished mine Nick finished his and big surprise joe was not done he was still complaining.We all wanted to go out side well me and nick who were done and i guess joe thought the garbage disposile was not important cause he crossed it off and met us out side. I asked him if he did everything cause dad checks and he told me yes. So we went and played ball. It started to get dark so we headed home to find...
