Title: Jesus and Theological Fatalism (Matthew 22:14), the Parable of the Wedding Banquet View count: 37 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: Just me pointing out a verse made by a user under the alias 'TheBeggarManIsHere'. My main thoughts were exactly this, "How can you say that those people who are invited who were not chosen because they chose not to when they have accepted the invitation to enter into a wedding banquet in the parable by Jesus?" and "How am I using Eastern Philosophy when I'm merely pointing out the verse in it's LITERAL context?" So, according to the verse, if you are to be saved from your sins, you have to be chosen by god, among the other sinners who pray earnestly for forgiveness. This can be taken as predestination as well, since god himself IS destiny and everything is in his control, according to many Christians. PS: In case those who say that I'm taking this verse out of context, go read up the verse from your King James Version of the Bible.
