Title: INVINCIBLE - a 'xCodGodx' movie by Nakbom View count: 695 Rating: 5.0 (21 ratings) Description: What's up, guys. I'm back with another montage. This time starring the well-known player called 'xCodGodx'. Some clips are from the infamous sniper-lobbies but please don't mind that, I mainly focused on the editing and the syncing at which obviously it did not went out well but that's because of YouTube. The original file got perfect sync, yeah, I repeat, p e r f e c t sync. I don't want to sound arrogant but it's a fact ... The whole project started as me being an member of the editing team of Impulse Media. Munchy, one of the founders of Impulse Media, came up with an editing request. Not really a request but just something to work on. Therefore he gave me the clips from 'xCodGodx' from his 'DIRTY' montage. He downloaded them directly from YouTube so sorry if it's not HD. It was still hard to improve that really shitty quality with colors and other effects. After getting the best quality I started working on it. But before that every moviemaker has to think about a striking name for his movie. And in my opinion that's the hardest part of creating a movie. The name represents the whole project. So I went on thinking. I didn't really got a "sick" name but I thought 'INVINCIBLE" would do it. Further the player called 'xCodGodx' is a "god" and "gods" are invincible, right? So there's still a meaning behind the name. The "gods will get up again" scene represents this. I personally think it's not the best name for a montage but here it seems to fit good into the concept. Nevermind, though. Heading on with editing. Editing was mainly easy, I said I focused in it. It's true but the most important point was the sync. The songs I chose got a huge potencial for syncing, especially the second one (look below for the names and more). And here we go, that was the only hard thing on creating this montage. But that doesn't mean it was not easy to make it, no. It's still difficult to make a good (!) movie. While working on the second fragpart my head started to glow. I got so many ideas at one time and I tried them out. With ideas I mean the little effects like after the "Stones" scene or the "Click Click". I think the effects I used are very variable, speaking about these "little effects". Further I got used to many more effects at Vegas than the ones I used for 'Blue Smoke'. Back to syncing: The sync is a main part of the editing. Like I already told you the sync in the YouTube version is literally shit. The soundtrack goes faster than the motion pictures. It really pisses me off but I can say that I got a perfect sync at the original file. Again, I'm not arrogant, that's just a fact. All in all that project was a huge experience for me. I learned more about Vegas and its effects and features. Really motivated me for future montages and other movies. Hmm, I don't know if I forgot something to say but it's not to bad, though.
