Title: Inteligent Pitch Shifter jam with Korg Pandora PX4D View count: 3617 Rating: 4.88 (8 ratings) Description: Just jamming with the inteligent pitch shifter effect of Korg Pandora PX4D. This effect works like this: 1) Choose the key (scale) that you'll play; 2) Choose the type of harmony you want. You can choose among various types, including Major third up or down, Minor third up or down, 5th and so on. 3) As you play, the Pandora calculates the right interval to play, and generates a second guitar sound in that pitch it calculated. Most of the gears has only pitch shifter, wich means that you'll sound out of key depending on the notes and intervals you play, the interval is static. With inteligent pitch shifter, it's almost like you were playin' with two guitars, like a duet, using dynamic intervals. I'm also using Pandora to record the backing track in itself, without using any aditional gear. Pandora has a mode called JAM, wich allows you to record up to 32 seconds of your guitar together with Pandora's rythms and basses and then put it on loop. That's what I'm using. You can record your own Backing Tracks on Pandora itself, and jam along, without the need of a computer or so. That's great for developing ideas of riffs and also for jamming. My guitar is a brazilian cheap guitar (it costs less than 1/10 the price of a Fender), so it should sound better with a better guitar and player, also PX4D is plugged into a really cheap leadership 2.1 system (http://www.kabum.com.br/kabum/imagem/fotos/01_02_21_45_12_i ndex_p.jpg). The audio is captured by a HP DV6000 notebook. Tags: 2.0, amp, angra, behringer, dragonforce, iron, line, maiden, metal, pod, vamp, x3, xt, Author: ivnvir |
