Title: Innocence View count: 179 Rating: 5.0 (7 ratings) Description: *sorry about the background noise, I'm still working out bugs* Water droplets fall softly into the turquoise pool Ripples multiply as I wonder why lifes so cruel Naked, bare, and uncovered I let it explicitly flow Why must life on me this sorrowful pain bestow I hold my face in my hands cold and full of shivers The sun bears down forming a sparkle on my many rivers I look at the pain turned beautiful and wish like that I could shine Glorious stillness upon tragedy pauses this bawling heart of mine High above in the silvery cotton clouds something does fall Made with love and of pure silk I wrap myself in this shawl Admiring such beauty I spin and turn and finally feel warm After my icy cold rejected heart I dance in the calm after the storm The rivers join and flow into a well filling an ever empty soul For with pain comes a beauty that no one could fail to extol I waited upon an unfrequented throne to brook this pain Withholding a smile and contentful hopes until passed did the rain You wove the lovely garment to keep me tucked safe Guarding with a watchful eye you hovered above this waif I longed to be held in many forms of embrace You sought to wipe away the tears that lie upon my face You nurtured and coaled the fire to light the rising sun beams You held the mirror that cast upon my rivers blinding gleams When thoughts of jumping invaded my body and mind Pulling me back you were there hanging on from behind Years ago I retreated to a much deserted place to die But found myself freezing in the arctic only able to cry Now I find myself longing something more mystical and magic To an Irish land miles away existing in a very distant pelagic Longing for a touch, your touch, of whats to be my many firsts Filling intimate desires and a quenching to everlasting thirsts For when together my wings take form and allow me to fly Exploring beyond the dreary gray into a bluest of blue sky Ill suppress this love as a distant secures its intensity from you But a day coming soon youll be surrounded by its lovely hue A magic spell now I shall cast with a bit of glittering fairy dust As soon a night will arise and unveil a passion so robust I sit outside in the bitter cold night staring at the moon But with you in my mind a warmth over me almost causes me to swoon You are my Moonbeam as its sight lets me know to you I am near As upon night when we glance towards the sky we stare at the same sphere As I close this letter of strength, hope, and most of all love I beg you to look outside and peer at what hovers above As I am too, on another land across the ocean wishing to share this view But nothing could be better than if I were standing by your side sharing it with you.
