Title: In remembrance of Milly, the abandoned kitten 3 View count: 17 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: I first saw this kitten lying down motionless on the floor next to my company's cafeteria. She was noticeable but was left to the ignorance of all employees passing by. This was because everyone, including myself, thought that she was dead. Thinking of putting the dead kitten at a more proper place, instead of leaving it on the open walkway, I squatted down to carry it away. I was surprised to find her moving her hind legs when I touched it. It was still alive! So much in joy, and not knowing what to do immediately, I first prayed to God not to take her life just yet. Give her a chance to live,... just two more hours and my wife would be there for the rescue...with milk. I looked for a box,placed it carefully inside and brought it home. Her life was hanging by the thread. I informed my wife immediately (whose love and fondness of animals has created the similar passion in me) regarding this kitten I'd found. She was happy to hear that it was still alive but worried about the kitten's life. We fed her with the milk we used to feed our puppies. Her eyes were still unopened to see the world around her, and all she could do was to suckle milk. She seemed to grow healthier day by day, similar to our affection to it. However, she didn't make it pass the 5th day. She died at my company, on both my palms. I felt I was to blame for her death, not educating myself well enough on the knowledge of the necessities of the survival of a kitten. I was on my knees, with tears heavily pouring out from my eyes, asking God why do You have to bring it to me but only to take it back after 5 days? ...leaving me in so much sadness I never imagined I would ever felt. I held the kitten to her very last breath. It was a day to remember. This video is shared to the remembrance of the kitten who touched my life, as well as my wife's. She hasn't got a name yet when she was alive. Dear kitten, we have decided to give you a name, though you're no longer with us. Your name is Milly. We want you to know that though we were given only 5 days with you, it was one of the most memorable 5 days in my life. You will be remembered for the rest of our lives, and I would tell my children the story about the kitten who touch my life. We just realized our love to you has grown tremendously throughout the 5 days. Your meows linger in our hearts, and touches our soul whenever we hear it again.
