Title: I'm Not That Smart View count: 312 Rating: 3.40 (5 ratings) Description: Eric Bill singing I'm Not That Smart from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The dialog at the beginning is hard to hear because Panch and Rona didn't have microphones. Here it is: PANCH: Our next speller is Leaf Coneybear. RONA: Mr. Coneybear makes his own clothes. PANCH: Your word is acouchi. LEAF: A-what? PANCH: Listen to the whole word, please. Acouchi. LEAF: At a spelling bee? Is that even a word? PANCH: Yes. LEAF: No way! What's it mean? PANCH: It's "A South American rodent of the genus Myoprocta resembling an agouti." LEAF: Awesome. What else can I ask? PANCH: You're allowed to ask for the word's language of origin or to have the word used in a sentence... LEAF: Yeah! Do that! PANCH: Alright. "Don't look now Pedro, but I think that South American rodent resembling an agouti walking next to you may be an acouchi." LEAF: Wow. That didn't help at all! Look, honestly, I've never even heard of that word before so I have no idea how to spell it. PANCH: Would you like to forfeit your turn? RONA: Why don't you just give it your best shot, Mr. Coneybear? Thanks to David Weinberg for the Panch lines, Becky Schroeder for the Rona lines, Brian Schaller for turning the pages, and Paul Heiland for accompanying.
