She pulled the covers up to my shoulders. Nick: Tell Joe I love him. I choked. I refrained myself from crying again. Miley: He knows. He loves you more than anything Nicholas. Nick: I know Miley! I shoved my fist in my mouth and started back to where I was before. Miley: Nick, itll be okay. Hell never hurt you again. I promise, Joes fixing him up nicely. She threw on an oversized concert t-shirt, and short-shorts. She crawled in beside me, kind of spooning me. She continued to play with my hair, and sang me Saturday by Hedley. I swear that girl is addicted to their music. "I love you, I need you, like a thousand times before. Wonder why I hate you, but I scream and ask for more." Joes POV The police took care of Kevin. I thanked the guys at the party that helped me, and I drove back to Mileys. I pounded up the stairs three at a time and flung open her bedroom door. Miley: SHHH! Hes sleeping! I tiptoed over to them. He is so beautiful, I thought as I traced his lips with my finger. Miley was spooning him, filling in the space that I should have. She started to get up, and Nick whined, rolled over and grabbed her, hauling her down. She laughed and kissed his nose. He whined, Nick: Joeeee, stay with me. Miley: He thinks Im you! She whispered and pulled away again. Nicks eyes darted open, reaching out to her like a child being pulled from his mother. Joe: Nick, Im back baby. He gasped and pulled me on top of him. Nick: I was so scared! He was crying into my neck. Nick: Please dont be mad at me! I love you Joe! Joe: Im not mad at you babe; he was hurting you! Miley: Umm, Ill go sleep on the couch. Ill leave you two alone. Joe: I owe you big time. You are an awesome friend. Thank you. Miley: No problem. You and Nick mean a lot to me Joe. Joe: Friends Forever? Nick wiped his nose on my shirtsleeve and Miley and I burst out laughing. Joe: Youre adorable my love. Nick: Mmm. I know. Miley left, and Nick and slept peacefully, nothing to tear us apart.
