Title: How to make ANY custom ringtone for IPHONE View count: 6039 Rating: 5.0 (3 ratings) Description: First of all you have to have some kinda music engine that you can tranfer music to itunes if you need one download limewire. Ok go in to control panel and go into folder options look at tabs at top of screen and click view. uncheck the box that says hide extions for know file types once you uncheck click apply. Then go into itunes and look at the top of itunes and find edit click it go to preferences then advance look for the box in advance that says copy file folderwhen adding to library. Then go into import and make sure import settings is set as AAC encoder when all this is done click ok. Then go to music that to tranfered in to itunes using music engine and right click it and scroll til you see Convert selection to AAC once you click this it will start converting to AAC. Once done go to the newly converted song and copy it to your desktop if you want you can make a folder on your desktop named ringtones. Before you ssh into your device you have to rename the song to 01 songname.m4r once you do this hit enter and a box will pop up click yes. Now ssh into your device and navagate to root level look for library go int library and look for Ringtone folder upload the song you just renamed inside of ringtone forlder once uploaded right click on the uploaded song and change permissions to 755 Once you do all of this repring you device or reboot device and go into settings sounds and theres your ringtone.
