Position the Spartan player near where the plasma pistol spawns. Bring the Wraith to the pillar and have the Spartan crouch. Boost into the Spartan player so that you ram him into the pillar--this will force the player out of the map. Gennerally, the most successful method is for the person in the Wraith to tap forward and then hold forward while boosting. When the Spartan re-spawns there should be a giant corpse looming over some part of the level.
