Title: Green Medians for Kids Art Expo at the Pearl Fincher Museum Part 1 View count: 56 Rating: 0 (0 ratings) Description: Green Medians for Kids, held Saturday, November 7th at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Art, was an event to allow young artists of elementary age to envision what our community could look like, specifically the medians that are to be installed along FM 1960 in 2010. 280 young people submitted their art that was then on display at the Museum. The Pearl Fincher Museum Board visited the exhibit and we had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Calvin Cobb, Museum Board chairman. This event and the Green Medians effort is under the leadership of Barbara Schlattman of Barbara Schlattman Interiors. The Green Medians Committee within the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce, is working to raise funds to see that the medians will be planted to create a lovely boulevard in our community.
