Title: Golden Axe (Sega Genesis) Stage 1 View count: 50 Rating: 5.0 (7 ratings) Description: The first video in a walkthrough requested by COUCHNUMBER. Since I don't want to spend the rest of my life playing this game perfectly and I don't want to post videos where I die since it would be pointless for you to watch, I use an emulator to make a save state at the end of each completed Stage, but not during the Stages themselves, meaning that the Stage in each video is the result of my best play with no use of save states or cheats of any kind during its course. This is the classic beat 'em up originally released for Arcades and with many ports including the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive port featured here and this is also the first game in the Golden Axe series. You get to choose between three characters at the beginning, they deal the same physical damage, but their magic is different, so is their range. All in all, these characters are balanced. Other than that, I don't have a lot to say, this is a simple beat 'em up, the controls work, the story is simple, you're here to see a big brute beat up on various enemies, that's what you should expect anyway. This is a good classic title, especially for its time.
