Title: Getting There: Chapter 2 View count: 221 Rating: 3.0 (2 ratings) Description: Carson's POV No time like the present. Isn't that what everybody says? Well, did they ever mention the sick feeling they have, when they're doing something in the present. The family vacation arrived home late last night, and chances were Austin had spent the night at our house. Add together the possibility of two teenage boys being awake before noon, and I have the perfect confrontational atmosphere. I need to see him. To make sure he knows nothing will ever happen. Because I love somebody, and they'll never be replaced. "I'm home!" I called, half hoping nobody would answer, as I walked through the door. I trudged upstairs to my room, and began loading my stuff into suitcases. "Going somewhere?" Blake asked, appearing at my door, coffee cup in hand. "I'm moving out." I sighed. "Out? Where to?" he asked, half laughing. "I figured I'd move in with Hayley. Her parents are never home, I'll live right next door to my Mother, and I'm in driving distance to visit you and Dad." I explained. "Why don't you just stay here?" he asked, quietly. "We were just getting to know each other." "Blake, it's not you." I began. "It's not even me. It's Austin. I just.....can't be around him." I heaved. "I understand." he said, squeezing my hand. "He's in my room, if you want to talk to him." "I'll miss you Blake. If it helps, you were the best big brother I've ever had." I giggled. "Well, I do try." he joked, modestly. I finished packing my things, moved them downstairs, then decided to face Austin. I crept back upstairs, and wandered aimlessly down the hallway. He was behind this door. The force that had ruined my entire life, was living and breathing right behind this wooden plank. I pushed the door quietly, and there he lay. Sprawled out across Blake's bed, shirtless, breathing evenly. It's strange how I could tell he wasn't sleeping. "We need to talk." I stated. "I was expecting you." he replied, sitting up tiredly from the bed. "Sit down." he offered, scooting further backwards. "No thanks." I declined. "I don't intend to hang around." "Oh." he sighed. "I just wanted to make clear, that what happened in Canada, was a huge mistake." I rushed. "I love Joe. I still love Joe. Those feelings I thought I had, they weren't real. They were my insecurities playing against me, making me feel lonely and desperate. In actual fact, I'm perfectly happy, and I'm sorry for leading you on." I finished. "Carson, please." he murmured, stepping towards me. I could feel the heat from his topless body, and his smile was the same as I remembered. "If you can tell me when we kissed, that you didn't feel a thing, then I'll let you walk out of here without a fight." "Austin, I already told you. It meant nothing." I said, through clenched teeth. "Does this mean nothing?" he asked, getting worked up. He fiercely grabbed me by the shoulders, and thrust himself upon me. We began passionately kissing, twining our bodies together, trying to make our two selves, become one person. When we finally pulled away, Austin had a smug smile across his face. "Absolutely nothing." I confirmed, walking out of the room. Now THAT'S, just the way I roll. GO CARSON! GO CARSON! Sorry for not uploading, but I had major homework issues over the weekend.
